27 Weeks

This marks the end of the second trimester!!! I have been enjoying every minute of this pregnancy but I am starting to notice the effects of the extra weight. It is uncomfortable to sit or stand for too long. On the bright side, it just means we are getting closer to Parker's debut. Only 3 months left to go.

Parker Gets A Crib

Here we (and by we, I mean Kevin) are putting together Parker's brand new crib. Thank you Mom and Roger. Parker is very lucky to have such a great Gram.
Sam has been very curious about all things that have to do with Parker. We let her supervise the construction of the crib.

The Remodel

This is what my house looks like at 6 months pregnant! It all started when I said, "all I want to have done before Parker get here is to have the walls textured and painted." And some how that turned into taking out a wall. It must run in the family. My mom said that her house always looked like this when she was married to my dad! I have been very stressed about the remodel but Kevin assures me it will be done by mid June. Stay tuned...

Week 22

Excuse the hair. Here I am at just over 22 weeks. I thought I was getting out of the "is she fat or is she pregnant" stage but a lady on the elevator this week asked me if I get a lot of people staring at me trying to figure if I am pregnant. Oh well, I am sure in a few more weeks I will be wishing that was the case!

Wiggle Worm

This week I really started to feel Parker move around. Kevin was even able to feel a jab! For the most part, the movements are pretty sublte but fairly frequent. It is comforting to know things are progressing and I am getting more and more excited by the day.

Thumbs Up! It's a Boy!

It's official, we are having a boy. No more Velveeta! It's Parker now. We thought we would go ahead and give him a celebrity name...Parker Polumbus! It just sounds like a name destined for greatness. He is already hamming it up, in the first picture he is giving us the thumbs up. The second ultrasound is not very clear but that is where he is showing us that he is a boy. The last picture is a 3-D ultrasound of Parker sucking his thumb. He still looks a little bit like an alien so we are going to leave him in a little longer so he can get a little bit cuter!

Our Practice Baby

This is our baby, Sam, on her couch that she has decided to eat - she doesn't chew anything else we have. We are very anxious to see how she will do with the baby. She has been around kids before but we want to know how she will adapt to being a sister.
